With Street Dance 3D the movie bursting onto the big screen to become the no 1 movie at the box office, the live event that the movie was originally based on, Street Dance XXL UK Street Dance Championships, will be making its way on Sunday 25th July, to the London's Docklands' ExCel Centre ICC London, for the 2010 live championships.
Over 4000 excited spectators are expected to attend to cheer and support the remarkable talent of 30 (350 dancers) new street dance groups from around the UK as they perform their most captivating routines in themed and vibrant costumes, with pinpoint choreography fussed with the most daring acrobatics and flips at the Street Dance XXL UK Championships to win the fantastic prize - to feature in the sequel, Street Dance 3D movie.
Both the Directors of the No:1 box office hit movie, Street Dance 3D, Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini will be attending, joining the Associate producer and founder of the Street Dance XXL UK Championships, James Narh, alongside key street dance choreographers to be part of a live judging panel to make the crucial decision of who will crowned the new Street Dance Champions 2010 and become the next biggest name in Street Dance.
Street Dance XXL UK Championships, previously known as Street Dance Weekend UK Championships (formed 15 years ago) is renowned for showcasing the next street dance sensation well before they are seen on TV - Diversity and Flawless are good examples and more recently Twist & Pulse, Peridot and Mzytikal on Britain's Got Talent (ITV).
Current Street Dance XXL UK champions Status, who also went on to feature on Sky's Got To Dance, will be guest performing before setting off on their '50 Days of Coke' Tour. Status will also be presenting the championships trophy to the 2010 winners.
Street Dance XXL UK Championships is set to produce the street dance stars of tomorrow, today.
